As you see we terminated our migration from OracleInsight.net to a new domain AppsInsight.net last night. With Yvan, it was our first experience of Wordpress migration. Our first try was to download all our files from our source site and to upload them to the target site but we met a lot of problem with old reference and after several hours of debugging we decided to reinstall a new version of Wordpress on the target domain and to use the standard export/import feature of Wordpress and the migration took maximum 1 hour. We spent the rest of time with the new Look and Feel and to install all our plugins.
Is it better than the old one ? What do you think about this new version ? Don’t hesitate to give us your feedback or comments.
By this new post I would like to encourage you to change your RSS feed to be sure to continue to receive our New Posts and to continue to follow us on Twitter the new twitter account is Appsinsight. With Twitter it’s fantastic because you can change your username (to take a new one if it’s available of course) and continue to see your history of old tweets.
If you have some ideas for the AppsInsight.net logo they are welcome.
Long life to AppsInsight.net…
