It's been a long time.
This is an amazing new .FMB Forms module, kind of "Tetris" like game.
It needs the last 1.7.7 version of the LAF to run. The game is a little bit buggy, but the aim, there, is only to demonstrate what you can do with new LAF 1.7.7 dynamic shape creation and animation.
Have a good time :-)
Download the brickdown.fmb module there.
Mary Christmas to everybody :)
This year, my present will be the Forms Resizer tool free for you!
You can use, play, modify and deploy it as you need and as you want. Yhere is no license at all attached to it.
But, I won't continue to update, maintain it (more...)
I have just corrected a bug in the LAF concerning loading big images with the NEW IMAGE feature and also the Image Spinner.
Download the new laf_177.zip from the site (stamp September the 3rd), the version number remains unchanged.
See you next time ;-)
This version adds more features on graphics (lines, rectangles, polygons, circles, texts) added at runtime (get/set properties, move, resize, rotate, animate).
Here is a new Forms Java Bean that allows to handle a typical "Breadcrumb" HTML menu type.

One of the Forms-PJC-Bean site's article has just been translated in Serbo-Croatian.
Many thanks to the translator ;-)
If you like funny people, have a look at this drummer. He's (Steve Moore) just crazy on his set !
He made my day
Have a good time,
This version allows the developer to display video clips inside or outside the Forms application.
The video clip can be loaded from the client, an A.S. virtual directory, an Internet URL and, of course, from a database BLOB column.
The movie is played through the Quicktime Java Bean, so (more...)
I see, more and more often, questions from people that (finally) migrate from C/S to Web Forms versions, and don't know how to display charts (feature that is no longer available in Web version).
Of course, the first point is to use the Oracle official FormsGraph Java Bean.
Another solution, (more...)
Installation & Configuration: Tips & Tricks for installing Weblogic and Oracle Forms 11g slides
Here is a very interesting blog entry from Mia Urman. It is a treasure for those who (don't want to) fight with that installation steps.
See particularly the "Installation & Configuration: Tips & Tricks for installing Weblogic and Oracle Forms 11g" slides.
For those people who don't want to hear about anything else than PL/SQL, here is Web 2.0 framework that lets you build world class Web applications with only PL/SQL!
Here's a 8 minutes video, similar to what I presented last May (2012) at AMIS
After a long time without any change, here is a major version that allows the user to display/edit (almost) any SQL order in a dynamic table-block.
