Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management v2.4 Dutch UI Language Pack Available Now

We are pleased to announce the general availability of Oracle Tax PSRM v2.4 UI (User Interface) Dutch language pack.

Language Patch Download:

1.   To download the Dutch language pack please log in to My Oracle Support https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html.

2.     Select the 'Patches and Updates' tab

3.     Type in the Patch number: 19230620

4.     Click the Patch number

5.     Download using the yellow download button on the right hand side


PSRM Virtual Machine are now Available to Partners

We are pleased to announce that partners can now gain access to PSRM VirtualBox VMs.  You can initiate the process by contacting your Oracle PSRM sales representative.  The PSRM Virtual Machine can be used for sales, demo, or sandbox purposes.

Partners will need to obtain a Microfocus license to run their PSRM Virtual Machine.  Please follow the process outlined in the PSRM Quick Install Guide to obtain your MicroFocus license.

Run Reports from PSRM Zones Against Logical Standby Database

Using a logical standby database to run dashboard or operational reports out of PSRM zones avoids impacting performance.  Below are simple steps to configure a zone that references the standby database:

  1. Set up a database link from the main database to the logical database
  2. Create synonyms in the main database for each table in the logical database
  3. Have the SQL queries read the logical standby tables via the synonyms

Password Management for Oracle PSRM

It is important for customers to understand how to maintain passwords for Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management (PSRM), which is built using Oracle Utilities Framework (OUAF).  PSRM and OUAF do not supply functionality to maintain a password.  It is Oracle's direction for industry products and core applications not to maintain security information as it is not their role in an architecture.  We recommend Oracle Identity Management Suite for password management as password rules and (more...)
